Position Summary
We study allergic inflammation and itch. Research in the lab is highly translational, utilizing biospecimens from human subjects and mouse models of human diseases. Our work is centered on itch in the skin, but has implications ranging from food allergies and irritable bowel in the gut to cough and asthma in the lung.
This position contributes to logistical and technical aspects of translational studies and experiments. Analyzing small animal behavior assay data is also a key component of our work. There is ample opportunity to generate large omics datasets, and any knowledge in big data analysis is a plus. Appropriate training in all lab duties will be provided, including guidance in troubleshooting and optimizing existing protocols.

Required Qualifications
Ph.D., M.D. or equivalent terminal or doctoral degree.
Working Conditions
This position works in a laboratory environment with potential exposure to biological and chemical hazards. The individual must be physically able to wear protective equipment and to provide standard care to research animals.
Salary Range
Base pay is commensurate with experience.
